A huge THANK YOU to every player who came out and competed at tryouts!

From returning players looking to earn their spot again, to new faces chasing the opportunity to wear the Pokes uniform for the first time, we saw an incredible amount of talent, effort, and heart. The coaching staff had some very difficult decisions to make, and we are grateful for the hard work every player put on display.

After much evaluation and discussion, we are excited to officially introduce the roster for the 2026/27 LC Pokes 9U Kid Pitch Team!

This group represents a tremendous combination of talent, character, work ethic, and potential. We can’t wait to get to work and begin building something special together.

Congratulations to all of our players and families. The journey starts now!

We are extremely excited and impressed with the talent we’ve seen at our 9U Pokes tryouts so far!

We have a few remaining players to evaluate over the next 24–48 hours before finalizing our roster. Once evaluations are complete, we will begin contacting all players selected to join the team.

The effort, attitude, and skill displayed by these young athletes have made this process incredibly competitive, and we appreciate every player and family who came out to be a part of it.

The day has finally arrived! We’re excited to see all of the talented young athletes come out and compete for an opportunity to be part of next year’s LC Pokes 9u team.
There is still time to register! Walk-ups are welcome, but pre-registering helps us keep things organized and the tryout running smoothly.
Players will be evaluated on:�⚾ Throwing�⚾ Fielding�⚾ Fly Balls�⚾ Hitting�⚾ Pitching�⚾ Speed
We’ll also be looking at:�✔️ Attitude�✔️ Effort�✔️ Coachability
Please arrive a little early to check in and begin warming up before your scheduled tryout time.
We can’t wait to see everyone compete and showcase their skills!

Due to the anticipated weather this afternoon and the rest of the week into parts of next week, we are delaying tryouts. The new date will be Saturday, June 27 from 9a to 12p. This will allow an extra couple weeks for those who were still wrapping up seasons to register. Registration is still open and will be up until the day of. All registrations confidential.
