Rising Sun Dojo Shotokan Karate-Do Rising Sun Dojo is a family-owned/operated dojo in Stroudsburg that is committed to integrity, tradition and helping each student to reach their potential.

Rising Sun Dojo offers classes in both Shotokan Karate for children 5 and above, as well as adults. With an emphasis on family, students are encouraged to take classes with their parents, siblings, partners or spouses. Our dojo has an open floor plan where parents, partners and spouses are able to watch and listen to our classes. In other words, you can hear what our instructors say and do within

the same room as the student(s). Classes are based on belt rankings rather than age as we believe the skill set of each student is key to their progress. This scheduling provides you flexibility in class selection rather than being locked into certain times due to the ages of your students. We welcome you to visit our dojo during our standard operating hours to observe, ask questions or even participate in a class. Please call or email us with any questions.
