Hello Racers,
I want to give an update and my prospective on the upcoming Marble Falls race.
They are needing racers and then making unthought out rule changes which eliminates about all the winners from the last several races prior. I don’t know whether to be mad or humbled about this change, it seems to me I would want the quicker cars for the competitiveness to bring the quickest cars rather than rule them out.
Now they are going to let more than one racer per car and we know how well that doesn’t work. Below is their new unthought rule.I have tried several times to get an answer with no reply, also they won’t call back about our refund for the race. I will bet the Hotel and Tourist committee won’t like it that we have cancelled at least 8 motel rooms, and all the money we spend while there. On top of this, they have turned off the comments from their page, makes one wonder. I think they are either wanting to get rid of the quick cars so the promoters have a chance at winning or it’s just going to be a novelty and not a race.
That’s my rant because I have been working on a new car all year and they just put this change in. I sure am missing Shannon the originator of this race.

We are sorry to announce the postponement of our race. We will have a workshop and recruitment day instead.

We will be there from 9:00 till 6:00 October 23 Saturday. We will have plenty of cars to look at and get ideas.
