Halloween is kind of a competitive sport in our family. 😂We go hard on the family costume every year. It’s one of our favorite traditions, and being in Austria this Halloween just means we get to take the show international.

Which does create some logistical challenges…but also opportunities.

So I’m crowdsourcing this one. Three people. Needs to be recognizable, reasonably packable, and worthy of the legacy. Maybe Euro themed? 🤔

What should we be for Halloween 2026? Wrong and ridiculous answers also encouraged.

I’ve been thinking a lot about resilience lately. Mostly because I keep hearing the same thing from people I coach: I’m tired of being the strong one.

And if I’m being truthful, I feel it too.

We talk so much about becoming more resilient, more adaptable, more capable, better at handling hard things. But what happens when the hard thing isn’t temporary?

When you’re always the one figuring it out, holding everyone up, working harder, making it work, absorbing the hit…and then getting back up to do it again?

At some point, maybe the question isn’t “How can I become more resilient?” Maybe it’s “Why am I requiring so much resilience from myself in the first place?”

I’m digging into that one in this week’s Summit Stronger newsletter. It drops Tuesday. 🏔️. If this conversation feels familiar, make sure you’re on the list. Link in bio.

I’m back at LadyBoss—and this time, we’re building what comes next. I’m taking everything we’ve learned, combining it with the science of behavior change, and reimagining coaching around what women actually need. Welcome to LadyBoss 3.0. I can’t wait to show you what we’re creating. Stay tuned—this is just the beginning.

Yes, I train because I want to be strong. I want muscle. I want capacity. I want to keep doing ridiculous things outside for a very long time.

And yes, sometimes I film it. Because somewhere along the way, training became part of the story I tell about who I am.

Strong woman.
Training mom.
Occasional flexer in scenic locations.
Professional embarrassment to my child.
I contain multitudes.

And if my kid grows up thinking women taking up space, getting strong, trying hard, and being a little ridiculous is completely normal?

Honestly, I’ll take it.

There’s a weird badge of honor around workouts that leave you crawling out of the gym. But soreness, exhaustion and sweat are not particularly useful measures of whether your training is working.

What matters is whether the stimulus is appropriate for you, and whether you can recover from it well enough to keep training.

That might mean adding load. Or reps. Or range. Or better control. Or doing the same damn thing a little better than you did last month.

Progress is usually less dramatic than people want it to be. Which is inconvenient, because “I slowly got stronger over several months” is much less sexy than “THIS WORKOUT DESTROYED ME.”

But one of those is a training strategy. The other is mostly a caption. 😂

And yes, if you’d like someone else to handle the programming part while you focus on actually doing it, I built something for that.

6 Weeks 2 Strong starts Sept. 14. 💪
