It's Monday Meet the Stilwell Indians Cross Country, and we're excited to introduce the Stilwell Indians Cross Country team! First up is our team captain, Milo Turman, who is in his third year with the Stilwell High School Cross Country team.

On Friday, August 28th, the Stilwell Indians Cross Country teams headed to Claremore for their second XC meet. With this meet being particularly challenging due to the competition from larger schools and the course itself, our athletes put in their best efforts and achieved impressive times, including some PRs. In the 4A division, the boys secured a 3rd place finish as a team, while Jacey earned 2nd place individually. Keep working hard Stilwell XC! 🏃🏽‍♂️ 🏃🏽‍♀️

Zion Hill's first visit of the year! The main emphasis was on running uphill, followed by a light jog downhill 3x. All the runners put in great effort and demonstrated dedication and discipline. Well done, Stilwell Indians XC! 📈💪🏽🏃🏽🏃🏽‍♀️

🐅 Tahlequah Early Tiger XC Invitational 2026.

The boys finished 6th among 10 teams, scoring 146 points. Both the boys and girls participated in the 5K event. 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♀️

There were significant improvements from last year, with many athletes surpassing their previous times, marking a strong beginning to the season! Well done, Stilwell Indians XC! 📈💪🏽

Today marks the conclusion of our summer training, wrapping up with a team bonding excursion to Welling Ridge Trails for a 4-mile hike 🏞🚶‍♂️, followed by a visit to Whataburger🥤🍔. Coaches are looking forward to seeing everyone on the first day of school next week!

As a reminder, be sure to pack your running gear for the first day of school, as we're excited to kick off the new XC season! 🔒🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️
