First day of NASCAR Youth Series presented by Cook Out at Little Kalamazoo Speedway Quarter Midget Club

Paysen started P1 in his heat but ended up tail after trying to make a pass and getting spun. He was a little carful after that so he slowed way down. On the plus side, he made a really good pass before that, passing has been a challange for him and something he’s really been working at.

What really made his day was being able to see his favorite NASCAR driver Carson Hocevar and getting his diecast Carson car and t-shirt autographed!

Back at it tomorrow for the mains!

It’s going to be a weekend full of racing and fireworks for the P3 team 🎆 🏁

Friday, July 3rd Phil will be in one of Lakeshore Body Shop super troopers at Hartford Motor Speedway

Saturday, July 4th Phil will be in the Root Racing 77 sportsman & Paysen will likely be trying his hand at a loaner mini wedge for the first time (thank you to the Kline family), at Berlin Raceway!

Fireworks to follow both shows, and honestly both tracks put on some of the best firework displays!
