Wiberg Wisconsin Goalkeeper School http://wibergwgs.com/ We have two simple goals. First, find and develop soccer (football) keepers of all ages. Second, we help to place keepers in college.

We identify coachable, intelligent athletes and develop them into quality keepers. A quality keeper is “a keeper who makes every save that they should, and a few saves that they should not”.

Sigh... NO keeper practice today Sun Dec 29 1-3PM in Stevens Point. A "Dense Fog" advisory until noon... and I just took a short drive and the roads are icy.

Just to build on how difficult it is to have the machine serve a ball at a keepers nose from 10 yards at 49mph. The ball travels 18 feet to the GK before the average human visual response time "sees" the ball.. leaving 0.16 seconds to focus and catch.

Now add in a simple collapse dive... and it's not simple at all! Occasionally serving balls at pace at close range like this mentally/physically prepares a keeper for the pace of service in matches!

Sigh.... and we started the first Road Show in 2007!
