UWSP Men's Rugby The Black and Blood represented across a few clubs at Pigfest 10s Rugby Tournament. A proud group that soon this September will be celebrating their 50th anniversary as a collegiate rugby program. An awesome achievement that'll be celebrated September 11th and 12th in Stevens Point. The Black and Blood Celebrates its 50th reunion September 12th, 2026!

Schedule includes:
- Golf Outing - Friday, September 11th at Glacier Wood 10:00 am (include email below for follow up information).
- Central Waters Brewing in Amherst Meet Up - Friday, September 11th 7:00 pm. Free drink tokens while supplies last.
- Alumni Game - Saturday, September 12th at Michigan Ave Fields at 12:00am.
- 50th Reunion - Saturday, September 12th at the Moose Lodge 4:00-9:00 pm. Pig roast, sides, and drink provided with registration fee.

Thank you Jon, one of our graduating seniors! You have been a true leader for the past three years and have gone above and beyond your duties as a member of this team.Joining as a freshman, Jon has been a dedicated member of the club ever since. He served as Treasurer for two years, was a rock as Forwards Captain, and acted as our designated lineout jumper (not because you’re tall or anything). You taught many of us the ways of the game, and your focus during matches kept us determined to play our best. We wish you the best with your future! Thanks again for everything you’ve done for the team!

The Black and Blood started Sunday hot with 2 wins against Lake Forest and UW-Oshkosh. After a tough loss to a strong St. Thomas side, the Black and Blood responded, we swept the rest of our games to take home the Plate bracket and a 5th place finish with a 4-1 record on the day!
