Hey everyone! I know this is a long post but I wanted to full everyone in on some big things I want to do in the future! Please give it a read, it would mean a lot to me!
By now I would say that it is pretty safe to assume that you are all aware that I have multiple jobs. I am a Certified Personal Trainer as well as a Sergeant First Class in the United States Army. I have recently started to realize my real purpose in life while being away from home for so long. I have come to realize that I was put on this Earth to help as many people as I possibly can. My particular brand of helping does come in the shape of Health and Wellness. I have given out thousands of workouts in all the years that I have been helping people. I have had well over 500 clients throughout the Army and civilian sectors. To this day I still write around 5-10 programs per week, help many with nutrition, and go out of my way to go workout with people that need the motivation to get moving in a healthy manner. Most of these were free and on my own personal time. I have simply wanted to help as many people as I possibly can and I take the wins and the losses with the individual as if they truly were my wins and losses.
After many, many hours of soul searching, praying, and talking things over with Elizabeth I have come to the conclusion that I still do not feel like I give enough back to those around me. Call it a love language, call it a bleeding heart, call it being whatever you like but I feel like I could do more. After all this thinking I have come to the final thought that when I do eventually get home, I plan on starting a new chapter in my personal training journey. I plan on volunteering my time and effort to build a program to get personal training, health, and nutritional coaching into the hands of disabled veterans without them having to pay anything out of pocket. I am still working on the logistics of this but at the moment I plan on using a portion of the current dues I will get from clients and put it towards this program. I also plan on working to fund raise in ways to help bring this all together. I would love to see it eventually become a non-profit organization one day but one step at a time. The path forward is rocky at best. There is no set path and I am leaving a lot of faith in God that it will eventually lead to helping those around me. All I know is that I want to help and I refuse to stop until I help as many as I can. This is my purpose.
