We're gearing up for summer ball. We have two Rugrats teams but are still waiting on a schedule. And one modified team with games being on Sunday evenings in June at 5:00 pm. I'll get the rugrats schedule out to you as soon as I get it so you can prepare your other summer activities.

Coaches should be reaching out closer to the end of the school year to coordinate practices.

With all the hard work everyone's done I'm sorry to say we will not have enough interest in summer ball from 8 & U and up. We will have modified and Rugrats T-ball.

It's time to start thinking about warmer weather and summer ball. Please fill out the attached Google Form for each child interested. We should have plenty of interest for the t-ball teams and hoping we can get the baseball and softball teams built back up to utilize our ball field. I know Adams deadline for signing up is February 19th so I would like to have everything by February 16th if possible. This way if we do not have enough for a full team you have time to sign-up elsewhere.
We will also need help running concessions so let me know if you are able to help out!

We've been getting a lot of questions about summer ball. As for teams this year we will have a Rugrats (3 & 4 year old's) and Modified (5 & 6 year old's) team.

The Modified team coach is Jake Weyers. The team will have practices Saturday, May 6th at 10:00 am and Saturday, May 13th at 10:00 am. The first game is Sunday, May 14th at 5:00 pm and will be weekly through June on Sundays at 5:00 pm all being home.

The Rugrats team coach is Nate Bianchi. We are still working on setting up practices but they won't begin until school is out. Also, we do not have a schedule for this age group yet but games will be twice a week in June.

If you'd like to volunteer in the concession stand let me know and I will get more details to you. We appreciate all the help!

Okay everyone I know it's winter time and summer ball is the last thing on your minds right now but we are needing to get registered for summer leagues soon. Please call or send me a message if your kids are interested in being on a team so I can get numbers together to see if we've got enough interest.

Update: Forms are available on our website sterlingne.com listed under Events and then Summer Ball.

Please complete the form by Feb. 1st so we can get teams together. Forms can be dropped off at the Village office or emailed to [email protected].
