After 5 incredible seasons, it’s time for us to say goodbye. 🤍
When we first started as coaches for the Stevenson Varsity Dance Team, we never imagined the journey that was ahead. What began as coaching one program quickly grew into something much bigger — the creation of Stevenson Ford United, bringing together two rival schools and turning them into one united team through dance.
Over the past five years, we’ve been fortunate to see this program achieve amazing success on both the regional and national stage:
• 2021–2022 – 14th place Medium Varsity Pom at UDA Nationals
• 2022–2023 – 3rd place Small Varsity Pom, 6th place Small Spirit Showdown, 13th place Medium Varsity Jazz at DTU Nationals
• 2023–2024 – 3rd place Small Varsity Pom at DTU Nationals
• 2024–2025 – 2nd place Small Varsity Pom, 6th place Small Varsity Team Performance at DTU Nationals
• 2025–2026 – 5th place Small Varsity Pom, 4th place Small Varsity Team Performance at DTU Nationals
While we are incredibly proud of the accomplishments on the performance floor, what means the most to us is the United legacy we built together. Two rival schools became one team, one family. Through United, friendships were formed, bonds were built, and memories were made that may have never existed otherwise.
Watching dancers from Stevenson and Ford support one another, grow together, and represent something bigger than their individual schools has been the greatest reward of all.
Although our time as coaches is coming to an end, the United story is far from over. We are so excited to watch the next chapter of this program unfold and see the future teams continue to grow, succeed, and carry on the legacy of United.
