Our JCC Day Hab Basketball Team did an amazing job at their very first game! They have been working so hard at their practices, along with their teammates at Person Centered Care Services, Inc.!

At our Avis/South Shore and Stapleton Older Adult Centers, we were excited to kickoff our Music and Movement Class for our CLLD participants with Music Therapist and Dementia Specialist, Ayana Guarneri!

We did it! Our staff and participants took part in a 30-Day Challenge where we chose one small action a day to help us grow in mind, body, and spirit this Elul, the Hebrew month of reflection before the High Holidays.

Our JCC Cornerstone Community Center at Richmond Terrace had a great time at their End of Summer Luau! They celebrated a great summer and kicked off the school year with a backpack giveaway, delicious food, and sweet treats!

Back-to-school season means making sure every child has what they need to succeed.

We were proud to donate backpacks and school supplies to backpack giveaway events by Catholic Charities of Staten Island and the International Christian Center, and brought shelf-stable food from Met Council to support families in need at The Jewish Board's back-to-school event.

We recently had the opportunity to participate in the Help Bag Hunger event hosted by the Mannix Family at Shop Rite. Our Food Pantry Manager, Steven, broke records with his shopping cart run, earning a thousand dollars in gift cards that will be distributed to our Food Pantry clients in need. We are grateful to the Mannix Family for their generosity in helping us fight food insecurity in our community!
