The other day was a hard one- emotionally, mentally, physically draining. “Mommy-ing” is hard sometimes when you want to hang out with your kid, and also be by yourself, and also work on your business, and also add in some self care.
My hubby saw this and offered to take kiddo for a couple hours so I could have time for myself - this felt irritating.
He offered for us to all go do something fun together- also irritating.
Everything was irritating.
I realized it was because I didn’t even know what support looked like or felt like for me that day. And the more that was suggested to me, the more I felt like I wasn’t able to decide what I wanted.
This was a great opportunity for me to really understand what support looked like for *me*, so I can articulate that the next time I am having a hard day.
