A fantastic deer hunted during the rut in Kansas. This deer was not recovered until a year later. The Kansas deer hunter spot & stalked this deer up to 50 yards. Army crawling the remaining distance, the whitetail deer sensed the hunter at 40 yards. Thus, the hunter made a quick draw back with his bow & was able to place a perfect shot on the deer. However, at the time it seemed like he hit a non vital area on the deer as we found blood, but could not find the deer. We looked for weeks, & finally found him buried in some trees a year later. What an end to amazing Kansas deer hunt!

A great Kansas whitetail deer found on one of Dirt Road Outfitters' properties. This buck would have been a phenomenal deer to hunt with a bow during the rut. What do y'all think of the shed found on the same property as this skull?

A very nice Kansas whitetail deer taken during the rut. This deer a few extra stickers on him. A great deer to hunt with a bow.

A very unique non typical whitetail deer killed in Kansas on one of Dirt Road Outfitters' properties. This deer won't score alot, but this Kansas buck does have at least 17 score able points.

A very nice Kansas whitetail deer killed during the rut. This deer measured in with a 22 inch inside spread & was scored as a 144 class whitetail deer. How would you like to bow hunt this type of deer in Kansas?

A very nice Kansas "sticker" deer killed that measured out to a Boone & Crockett 173 class whitetail deer. A great whitetail deer to chase in Kansas!
