Thank you to Area 419 for supporting the legion sniper challenge this week. I snagged a Hellfire match off the prize table to compliment the new Straight Jacket Armory build. All thats left is to throw in a trigger and top it off with a U.S. Optics .

Just finished up shooting the Legion Sniper Challenge in support of Chapter 38 of the Special Forces Association . They put on another great event that was challenging and fun. This is also part of the new team series , if you shoot these matches you should consider becoming a member.

We ended up in 9th out of 35 teams, not to had for a haz been and a dentist, but we had a blast and didn't bomb any stages. for putting up with hot brass slapping your face while we cleaned a stage.

Hopefully you all appreciate the sasquatch pose before we did the mandated cattle pond swim......yes we swam across it.

Not gonna lie. Having a 3D printer has been a gamechanger. I was tired of messing with remote placement for the . So i found a pistol grip i liked and moded it to fit the remote and secure the wire. Huge upgrade for the Crayola rifle.

In other news, the Sold out course with Six Eight Training Group is tomorrow, which means ye O'le Battle wagon needed to be washed off and packed up. It was also over due for some branding updates. Now there is room for new partnership logos which will be posted soon.

The newest member of the family. The Horizon Fi****ms Stiller Actions wombat. I got the action off the prize table at the Mammoth Sniper Challenge in Janurary and had it sent off to the wizards at Straight Jacket Armory to get outfitted with this absolute unit of a barrel. Its nice to have a Tree O' Hate bolt gun back in the arsenal.

It'll be getting a U.S. Optics scope, and the trigger is yet to be decided.

I am Happy and proud to announce that yesterday the fat lady sang. In partnership with the Hawaii Rifle Association and Attorney Alan Beck, we sued the state of Hawaii for violating the second amendment by blocking qualified non-residents from acquiring concealed carry permits. Alen presented an amazing brief and argument on the historical precedent for travelers to carry weapons for self defence. After a very short waiting period, the State government decided to settle the suit and drop enforcement of a residency requirement for permits.

For now, this only applies to myself and members of of the Hawaii Rifle Association, so if you plan on applying you will need to become a member. But hopefully that will change and the law will get struck down in its entirety.

I can't thank Alen Beck enough for the time and effort he put into this case.

You all have heard me preach that shooting is a perishable skillset and sustainment through proper training is key to maintaining success.

On April 26th I will be assisting the Team at Six Eight Training Group with some courses in Doswell, VA. This will be a great opportunity to bust off some of that rust and test your limits on your pistol skills (which many of us carry on a daily basis). In addition, there is a TACMED add on avaliable. 4 hours of medical responce training that gives you the ability to treat traumatic injuries and give victims valuable time until the professionals arrive.
