Our oldest member also hit the track yesterday!
Christine battled a loose kart all day long. Her age showed skill as she was able to right when the kart wanted to spin around on her. She made her way through the field a few times, making it up to 2nd place. Ultimately she finished in the 5th position in her feature. 🏁🏁

🏁 Racing Recap - Rylee 🏁

Rylee had a GREAT night on Monday! 💪🔥

She started her heat race from the 3rd position and got a great start. When a kart spun out right in front of her, Rylee kept it clean and kept her foot on the gas! With no caution coming out, she stayed focused and finished her heat in 5th.

Rylee started her feature in 4th and held her position for several laps before falling back to 5th. But she wasn’t giving up! She battled her way back into 4th and held strong on her line, going side-by-side lap after lap.

She missed 4th by less than a nose!

Rylee put up a fight all the way to the very end, showing some serious determination and great racing! We’re so proud of her! ❤️🏁

🏁 Racing Recap — Bradley🏁

Last Sunday at Pomfret, Bradley had an up-and-down day. He started his heat race in 4th but fell back before beginning to battle his way forward again. During a caution, Bradley was hit in the rear, bending his axle. He continued the race and finished 5th! 💪

A huge thank you to Woody, Lance & Joe for helping get the kart back together!

The chip pulled started Bradley on the pole for the feature. Unfortunately, Bradley spun, which shifted things on the kart. The sprocket moved, and Bradley pulled off. In just 3 caution laps, the crew was able to get him back on track. He only made it a couple more laps before having to pull off again. The entire hub had shifted, ending his day early.

Monday at Stafford, Bradley admitted he was nervous. After his big flip earlier this season, he is afraid something was going to happen and he’s going to flip again. He started his heat race in 5th, shuffled back a bit, and then set his sights forward. He worked his way back to 4th, securing a spot in the B Main!

Starting 12th in the B, Bradley slowly worked his way forward. Then came a little tunnel vision moment — he turned a little too low in a corner and unfortunately took his buddy Kayden out with him. Sorry, Kayden! ❤️😬
Bradley restarted at the back and put his head down, working his way back to 9th!

This weekend brought Pomfrets Labor Day Shooutout!
Bradley had the opportunity to try out a new chassis. He started in the 4th position. Bradley showed some great heads-up driving in his heat, avoiding a handful of spun karts and putting himself in position to restart 2nd. Shortly after the restart, Bradley took the lead! Through multiple cautions, Bradley kept his cool, stayed focused and took down the heat race win!

That put Bradley on the pole for the feature, where he led all 20 laps of a caution-filled race to bring home another WIN! 🏆

Sunday, we decided to bring his old chassis back out from last year and see how it would go. Bradley immediately let us know there was quite a vibration that made the kart difficult to drive. He qualified 7th in time trials. During the feature, after just 6 laps, Bradley made the smart decision to pull the plug and head off track.

We cannot thank Precision Velocity Kart Rentals and Support for the chance to test out the new kart and for all your help the last few weekends!

Thank you to Bradley’s sponsors who stick with him through the highs and lows!

🏁 Racing Recap — Lulu 🏁

Last Sunday at Pomfret, after a frustrating practice, Lulu got the chance to run time trials to qualify for the feature. She absolutely cranked it out, laying down the fastest time in her division by over .2 seconds! That put her on the pole for the feature.

The kart in P2 got the jump on her at the start, but Lulu stayed right there and continued to push. She laid down the fastest lap of the feature, even making some passes along the way, and brought it home with a 2nd place finish! 🥈

Then it was off to Stafford on Monday, where Lulu drove the wheels off her kart in practice, putting down some of her fastest times of the season so far! 💨

Unfortunately, when the heat rolled around, she apparently forgot that the gas pedal was there and finished 5th. 🤣 That put her starting P5 in the C feature.

Lulu worked her way up to 4th with some great driving, but a caution sent her back a spot on the restart. She didn’t let it get to her though — she got back to the speed she showed in practice and drove that kart HARD. She ultimately finished 5th, but looked absolutely fantastic out there! 👏

This weekend was the Pomfret Labor Day Shootout, and Lulu was back at it with another round of time trials. She placed 5th for the feature and was ready to go!

She immediately got to work, passing karts and making her way all the way up to 3rd place! She was doing an awesome job when she got spun, bringing out a caution and sending her to the back of the 13-kart field for the restart.

But she didn’t let it phase her — quite the opposite. 🔥

That restart lit a fire underneath her, and Lulu got to work. She drove hard, passed karts, and fought her way all the way back up to 6th place by the checkered flag!

We are SO proud of the progress Lulu has made. Watching her find her speed again and, more importantly, seeing that confidence come back has been so awesome. ❤️

Keep pushing, Lulu! We see you! 👊🏁

🏁 Racing Recap — Dakota 🏁

Last Sunday at Pomfret, Dakota showed some serious speed! She laid down great lap times, pushed hard, and finished 2nd in her heat race. She put on a great battle in the feature, fighting for every position, and brought it home 4th!

On Monday, Dakota kept that momentum rolling! Starting deep in the field, she quickly worked her way toward the front and took the heat race win! 🏆 That put her on the pole for the Tiger B Feature.

Dakota got a great start and kept her foot down! When she got passed, she didn’t let it phase her. She stayed focused, kept pushing, and finished 3rd for another podium! 🥉

Then came this past weekend’s Pomfret Labor Day Shootout!

Friday started off with some bad luck. Dakota started 2nd in her heat and was battling hard when several karts got tangled up, unfortunately ending her heat early. The kart suffered a broken tie rod and heim joint. The crew got to work, made the repairs, and got her back out for the feature!

Because she didn’t finish her heat, Dakota had to start dead last in the feature. In a caution-filled race, she kept her nose clean, picked her way through the field, and finished 6th! 💪

Then Sunday brought the Jr. Sportsman B Money Race! 💰🏁 Instead of a heat race, the drivers ran time trials — and Dakota laid down the fastest lap! That earned her the pole position for the feature.

Dakota took the lead and held onto it for the majority of the race, with plenty of pressure coming from behind. She kept her cool through two cautions, including one with just 3 laps to go. She stayed focused, stayed out front, and BROUGHT HOME THE WIN! 🏆🏆🏆

What a weekend for this girl! From fighting through the field, to overcoming a wreck, to putting it all together and getting the WIN!

Thank you to Dakota’s sponsors who make this all possible!

Last Monday, our drivers made the most of the day they could! Rain shortened their night, but they showed up in their heat races!

Dakota started deep in the field in the 7th position. She wasted no time making her way to the front. She clicked off karts as she clicked off laps. She made her way to second place, where she would finish, hot on the heels of 1st!

Lulu started 4th in her heat race. She fell back a bit on the start but didn’t let it deter her. She stayed smart and let off when karts in front of her got caught up, with both karts getting going, no caution was thrown and she put her foot back in it. As she drew closer to another kart, she didn’t hesitate. She made a great pass and finished her heat in the 6th position!

Bradley started his heat in the 2nd position. He got a good start and was contending for position when a kart got into him and sent him for a spin. This made him restart at the tail end of the field. He didn’t let it bother him, he got back to work. He was able to drive back up to the 3rd position!

Rylee started her heat in the back of the pack after missing the previous race. The start was chaotic and Rylee laid back a bit. Once she got to it, she put her foot down and passed 2 karts, finishing in the 5th position!

Tonight is our last Monday show of the season — just the finale on Sunday the 13th after this!

Sheeesh, I have dropped the ball on driver updates. We’re going to do brief recaps and I’ll be better for this week😅😅

Last race at Pomfret, the kids did great!

Lulu finished 7th her Rookie feature. She is looking forward to another strong night at Stafford in just a little bit. Slowly but surely she is gaining her confidence back and we are just happy to see her out there! ❤️

Dakota had an amazing run in the Jr Sportsman B feature, finishing 2nd! She had a strong day at the track and worked hard for her position! Dakota has been on fire at Stafford and she’s looking to build on that momentum tonight! 🏁

Bradley finished 3rd in the Jr Sportsman B feature. He was running strong and he’s happy to string together some great finishes after a tough start to the season. Tonight at Stafford, he’s looking to get back to business. We are so thankful for our friends Kyle and Tiffany who are letting Bradley run their back up kart to finish the Stafford season. Bradley’s best friend Hunter shook it down at Pomfret and told him he was going go be fast. Keep your eyes peeled for the different kart and different number👀 To match Hunter, Bradley is the 88B for the rest of the year! 💙

Head on down to Stafford to watch one of our last Monday nights of the year — just 3 races left at Stafford!

🏁 What a night at Stafford! 🏁

Rylee decided it was just too hot tonight and she wasn’t feeling the racing life 😂 So girly got to make the executive decision to head home and hang out in the AC! ❄️💗

Dakota had a great 3rd-place run in the Tiger B Feature showing what she’s got! 🥉🔥

Lulu ran strong, making it to the Tiger B Feature once again and bringing home a 10th-place finish! 💪

Bradley battled kart problems all night but kept fighting, finishing 6th in the Tiger C Feature. 🏁

A hot night, plenty of battles, and another night of learning for Team Trackstar! 💪

Race recaps coming over the next few days! 👀🏁 🏁
