Race Recap - Dakota 🏁

Dakota hit the track on Sunday ready to race after being off for over a month due to rainouts!

She started off practice pretty loose, but things started coming around. After a few small adjustments, she was ready to go for the heat race.

Dakota started 3rd and worked with teammate Bradley on the start, setting herself up for a clean pass to take over the lead! She held onto that lead through multiple cautions, clicked off the laps, and took the checkers with a solid gap over the rest of the field! 🏁

Unfortunately, rain would cut the day short. With the heat races counting as the features for the day, Dakota walked away with another feature win on the season! 🏆

Thank you to Dakota’s amazing sponsors!

Race Recap - Bradley 🏁

Bradley hit the track at Pomfret to shake down a different kart!
He was a little loose in practice, so after an adjustment, he was looking forward to getting the heat in and seeing what he could do.

Bradley started on the pole for the feature and got off to a good start. He and teammate Dakota got going, and she set him up for a great pass! Unfortunately, just after that, chaos ensued. Another kart went in too hard, drove over Bradley’s left rear, and the two got hooked together as they headed up the track. Bradley managed to keep himself out of the tire wall by going through the grass, but he had to pull off the track, ending his day early. He was hurting after the incident, and the contact ripped the nerf bar out of the back of the kart.

Unfortunately, rain would cut the day short, and the heat races ended up counting as the features.

Thank you to Precision Velocity Kart Rentals and Support for the kart & help the last few weeks trying to figure things out!

Thank you to Bradley’s sponsors who stick with him through it all!

🏁Race Recap - Rylee 🏁

After taking some time off from racing — and with a little money motivation 😉 — Rylee hit the track on Sunday!

She wasn’t planning on racing, so she skipped practice, but she showed us she still remembered what to do! With only two karts out there, Rylee led every lap. The two karts got a little tangled up toward the end, and the checkered flag came out under caution to finish things off.

One thing’s for sure, she’s not letting Uncle D forget he’s gotta pay up! 😂 A deal’s a deal, and a win is a win! 💰🏁

Thank you to Rylee’s sponsors for their support this season!

Our oldest member also hit the track yesterday!
Christine battled a loose kart all day long. Her age showed skill as she was able to right when the kart wanted to spin around on her. She made her way through the field a few times, making it up to 2nd place. Ultimately she finished in the 5th position in her feature. 🏁🏁
