WE’RE HITTING THE ROAD! 🏀🚊

STL Watches WBB is taking our love for women’s basketball beyond St. Louis with our first WNBA Field Trip!

On Friday, August 21, we’re headed to Chicago to watch the Chicago Sky take on the Golden State Valkyries at Wintrust Arena, and we’re inviting you to join!

🎟️ Group tickets will be approximately $130 for lower-level sideline seating, with our crew seated together. Transportation and lodging are not included, so you’re free to make the trip to Chicago however works best for you.

It’s kind of wild looking back at where this all started.

A simple idea to create a space where Black q***r womencould gather around the game we love months later has led to new connections, shared celebrations, and unforgettable watch parties.

Every event has brought new faces, familiar faces, and the kind of joy that comes from experiencing the game together. STL Watches WBB is built by and for Black q***r women, welcoming allies who support that mission.

We’re still growing, and this WNBA All-Star Weekend is another chapter. We’d love to have you there.

STL Watches WBB exists because of Black women. Because of the athletes who gave us moments we’ll never forget, who push boundaries and demand more for the game, and who continue to push women’s basketball forward.

I don’t just watch women’s basketball because I love the sport. I watch because of the Black women who have made me feel seen, encouraged, and energized by their love of the game. At each level, I’ve been inspired by the passion, confidence, leadership of the Black women involved that make the culture what it is.

Thank you for inspiring not only the next generation of hoopers but also fans like me to fall in love with the game, build community around it, and believe that there’s always room for us in these spaces. Thank you for changing the game, on and off the court.

Happy National Black Women in Sports Day. ✨🏀🖤
