Back for her 2nd year with our squad is #17 Blayke Frownfelter!

A 2028 RHP/UT, Blayke has an ability to impact a game in numerous capacities, all while exhibiting a very competitive demeanor on the field and in the dugout.

In the circle, Blayke shows strong stuff with smooth mechanics. She commands her arsenal very well to all quadrants of the zone and is not afraid to challenge hitters. With good speed, strong spin and an advanced ability to change speeds, B can stymie opposing offenses with her stuff and moxie.

On offense, Blayke consistently grinds out tough AB's with a line drive approach and gap power. She lets the ball travel well and has quick hands at the plate. She was one of the top hitters on our squad this summer, consistently producing against some of the top arms in the country while playing a very challenging schedule.

A versatile defender, Blayke handles all three OF spots with great reads and angles. She shows solid range and a good arm as well. Blayke also stepped up late in the summer when injuries hit our squad and filled in at 1B, showcasing excellent game awareness and a willingness to step up and help her team in a time of need.

Top Gun 2028 National - Strange would like to welcome #16 Meg Parson!

A 2028 C/UT hailing from Kirkwood, MO, Meg brings an impactful defensive presence behind the plate and a powerful, run-producing presence to it. Coming off a strong 2026 campaign, Meg boasted a .377 BA with 4 HR’s and 35 RBI’s with her squad. The addition of her bat, glove and arm are key boosts to the outlook of our upcoming season.

Meg’s offensive game is stout. She hammers balls in gaps and shows excellent contact skills to go along with her extra-base pop. Strong kid with a power-packed swing that shows well in clutch spots.

Excellent receiver behind the plate with quick reflexes and maneuverability. Outstanding blocker that earns the trust of a pitching staff. Her strong arm and quick release aids in halting the running game as well. Meg also brings a vocal demeanor behind the plate and thrives as a field general presence to her teammates.

Meg is another hard-worker that sets the tone. Her intangibles beyond her talent (which is ample) are a huge addition to our squad. Very excited to watch her in orange and navy this upcoming season!

Top Gun 2028 National - Strange would like to welcome #3 Riley Coleman!

Tucked away about 50 miles southwest of St. Louis is the town of Washington, MO. A community blanketed with a strong tradition in sports programs, this town has produced many exceptional talents throughout the years. Playing for coach Grant Young’s Washington Blue Jays program, 2029 3B/1B Riley Coleman has already made a name for herself as one of the next in a long line of talented athletes coming out of this program.

A thunderous right-handed hitter, Coleman put up lofty numbers during her freshman season with the Blue Jays’ program - .420 BA, 12 HR’s, 49 RBI’s. She carried over that success at the plate into the spring and summer with a strong showing, often playing up against older competition.

Riley brings a powerful presence to our lineup. Big power with lots of loft and extension in her swing. High offensive upside with head-turning ability at the plate. This kid works her tail off and has an exciting presence in the box.

Defensively, Coleman shows soft hands and good range at the hot corner. She’s comfortable with the slot throw and making the tough defensive play on the run required at the hot corner.

With strong athleticism, instincts and a blue-collar work ethic, Riley has a very high upside. She’s just tapping into her potential and will be an exciting athlete to watch!

Back for her 12th year playing with Coach Jeff 🤩 and our squad is #13 Lorelai Kellner!

Lorelai has established herself as an exceptional talent that brings an exciting mix of tools and upside to the ballpark. She has consistently performed at a very high level against high-end competition for years now and along with having a keen Softball IQ, she has a flair for rising to the occasion when the game is on the line.

Offensively, Lorelai swings an electric bat with power to all fields. She led our squad in HR's this year (15) and RBI’s (56). She hunts pitches that she can drive and smokes balls in the gaps and over the fence with regularity. An accomplished run producer, Lorelai has a penchant for coming up big when the game is on the line. She has a tough-as-nails will and drive, thriving on the big stage.

Defensively, she has outstanding hands and moves well. Her range is solid at 2B and 3B, and she turns two as well as anyone that you will see.

Also a RHP with a power-arsenal, Lorelai can spin it very well and shows strong velocity in the circle. She averaged over a strikeout an inning this season with a strong Swing-and-Miss percentage.

Back for her 7th year with our squad is #8 Olivia Borgmann!

A 2029 OF, Wheels has established herself as a true triple-threat at the plate, a strong defensive presence in the OF and a speedster on the bases, capable of creating havoc on the opposition.

Hitting from the left side, Olivia led our squad in hitting this past season while setting the tone out of the leadoff spot. Wheels can play the short game with her slap and is also a capable bunter. She has developed extra base pop as she has continued to grow and get stronger and now shows well with her power slap, along with swinging away. Her ability to put pressure on the defense with her plus speed is an added asset to our offense.

On defense, Wheels covers good ground and gets nice reads off of the bat. She has a solid arm and is fundamentally sound in her approach with the glove and her throwing.

Wheels works incredibly hard on all elements of the game and brings a capable presence at the top of the lineup and in the field.

Back for her 4th year with our squad is #7 Ava Dixon!

A 2028 RHP/3B/1B, Ava is an athletic presence in the circle, in the field and at the plate. Her ability to contribute to all facets of the game illustrates the impact that she brings to our team.

Ava features smooth, effortless mechanics from the circle. The ball explodes out of her hand with excellent speed and spin, and she combines that with an ability to locate to all quadrants of the zone. She showed considerable success against some of the top lineups in the country throughout the season while demonstrating an ability to lock in and shut down the opposing offense when the game was on the line.

Offensively, Ava shows solid pop from the right-side of the plate. Solid defender at both corners with good hands and a strong arm.

Ava brings a high ceiling to the ballpark as a lockdown RHP and a strong bat with solid pop and athleticism in the field.

Back for her 7th year with our squad is #2 Kayla Swinford!

A 2028 OF that brings a high-energy approach to the ballpark, Kayla demonstrates a lot of hustle and grit. Her character and blend of solid tools are key attributes to the chemistry and makeup of our squad.

Line-drive approach at the plate with good speed. Kayla shows gap power and a penchant for coming up big in clutch situations. Strong defensive OF with excellent ball tracking skills and the ability to make the highlight reel play in the field.

Kayla is the type of ball player that'd run through a brick wall for you. She brings a lot of energy and toughness that you can't teach to the ballfield daily that allows her to stand out.

Recruiting zoom for 2028’s on August 23. Stay tuned for more details…

Top Gun student athletes in the Class of 2028 - we will be holding a recruiting call for all athletes on all our teams in this class.

We will also have 2027’s Bryli Seifert, Kiley Glenn, and Kherington Morris joining the call to share perspectives from their experience in the process; in addition, a few Top Gun Fastpitch alums joining as well.

Plan on 7:30 PM CST via zoom on August 23rd.
