The Missouri Elite Baseball organization was started in 2005 by the great baseball mind, Nick Pearson. His vision was to build an organization focused on developing baseball fundamentals and a winning mindset, as well as developing young men to succeed in the future no matter what profession they may enter.
Although an independent club, Missouri Elite competed with the top teams in the nation and have had tremendous success with a proven record of winning throughout the years. Our driven and versatile athletes wore the orange and green proudly reflecting Nick’s passion for baseball.
With the sudden passing of Nick in Jan. 2021, the Missouri Elite coaches and families came together and finished the season as Coach Nick would have wanted. I want to say a huge thank you to Andy Adkins, Mike Foster, Dan Hubbard, Casey Graves, Mike Richards, Ron Williams, Tony Cyr, & Adam Smith. You all stepped up and coached this season and made it successful for the boys. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate each and every one of you! 💚🧡
For our boys future success, we needed to find a club that fit our culture, our focus on continued development, and our winning tradition. With this, the Missouri Elite (Green 15u) decided to join Jon Myers, Mike Pontius, Tyler Muehling, and TJ Sinovich and the Midwest Futures organization. We are grateful for Jon and his coaches for taking our special “10” and we look forward to the progression of our boys over the next several seasons. Our 12U is split between the Midwest Futures and Premier Baseball Academy. I know they will all continue to represent Coach Nick in a positive way. We wish all of our MO Elite players the best of luck in the future.
To the Elite families, coaches, and players (past and present), it’s been an incredible journey. Nick loved coaching each and every one of you! It has taken me awhile to be able to post this because I still can’t believe it has come to an end. MO Elite has been an enormous part of our lives and you all helped us make it through this heartbreaking year. Although this year was incredibly difficult, our motto of “it takes a village” proved to be in full effect to make the 2021 season a success. Thank you for all the support through the years and we are looking forward to the Future(s)!
Lastly, as Nick always reminded us, especially when the chips were down, remember to “Hold the Rope”.
