(www.pfufa.org) is an elite international organization consisting of ultimate football fans from the United States and Europe. Formed in 1999, our founding members were initially part of a joint promotion of the NFL, The Pro Football Hall Of Fame and their sponsors. has continued to scout for ultimate fans from around the professional football spectrum. Each member takes this responsibility very s

eriously when considering a candidate. As such, the standard we put on these fans is very high. The eligibility process is extremely diligent and can take up to three years. Once completed, potential members of the P.F.U.F.A are selected for membership by a committee of their peers. Candidates must uphold the highest standard of sportsmanship, fellowship and the promotion of charitable activities. mission statement. Of the numerous ultimate fans considered each year, only a few will be selected to join the organization. Each August, the P.F.U.F.A. reunites during Pro Football Hall of Fame (HOF) week in Canton, Ohio. The 4-day event includes visits to the J. Babe Center, the Akron Children's Hospital, several HOF sanctioned events, participation in the Hall of Fame parade and our official PFUFA Tailgate Party. All of this culminates with the Professional Football’s Ultimate Fan Association Induction & Awards Breakfast. Held on Sunday morning at the Hall of Fame, the newest class of members are officially honored and bestowed all of the privileges associated with being a P.F.U.F.A. Past P.F.U.F.A. President Candice Chifici very eloquently defined the P.F.U.F.A. in a quote to Tailgater magazine:
“You will never find another place on earth quite like the Annual P.F.U.F.A. Here, we have Brownies tailgating with Bengal fans. We have Packers, Vikings, Bears, and Lions fans standing shoulder to shoulder grilling, laughing, breaking bread. We have Raiders, Broncos, and Chiefs fans that have, at the drop of a hat, traveled across the country for each other. We have Redskins, Cowboys, Eagles, and Giants fans literally giving the shirt off their backs for the other. We have... too many examples to list. In short, PFUFA is a family.”
With this said, we do not have an ‘inflated view’ of our organization, and we know we are not the “pinnacle of football fandom”. There are numerous groups and associations for fans; we are just one of them. We are currently scouting for ultimate fans who exemplify the P.F.U.F.A. mission statement …To Promote Fellowship of ALL Fans, Encourage Sportsmanship and Support Charitable Activities!. If you are one of them, if you are a fan that should be a part of this organization, we will find you. Maybe not this month or this year, but we will find you.
