Hello Cardinal Fans!
BIRDWATCHING at Gators in Brownwood among their numerous big screen TV’s at 2:15 this Sunday, April 8. Don’t forget we get 10% for food and non-alcoholic drinks. We normally have 50-90 people socializing and watching our Cards. Contact Kerry at [email protected] so he can arrange for enough seating.
Cardinals Nation will meet Friday, April 13, at Big Cypress Recreation Center for our annual Cardinal Trivia and Souvenir Night. At 5:15, bring your favorite Cardinal artifact to set up what you have to show other members. These could be things that are meaningful to you or items others might find interesting. (I’m bringing a couple pennants and old sports magazines from the early 60’s.) Other members should arrive around 5:35 to browse among the Cardinal artifacts. At 6:00, we will begin Cardinal trivia. I hope to have us done by 7:00, so you can visit your favorite restaurant south of 466A. Prizes worth potentially millions of dollars, plus bragging rights! Popcorn and snacks will be on tables.
I’m now looking for potential questions. If you have a question or two you would like included in the Trivia, email them to me in the next days at [email protected].
Here are some future events to mark on your calendars:

SPRING TRAINING TRIP!
Spring Training trip to Jupiter was a winner: 13-6. Ozuna hit a homerun and we saw the debut of pitcher Jordan Hicks, 21, who threw 2 2/3 innings at speeds of 98 to 102 miles an hour on his fastball. Hicks, who is projected as the Cardinals’ closer in the not-too-distant future, was a surprise roster add-on at the beginning of the season and is starting off fantastically! And we were there to see him first!
It’s easy to get excited with scoring 13 runs!
