The Accelerated Golf Tour, a new and exciting series of two–day tournaments designed for collegiate and advanced high school golfers, is scheduled to begin in the St. Louis metro area in the summer of 2011. The Accelerated Golf Tour will consist of a series of approximately ten tournaments during June, July and the first week of August. Each tournament will be open to both male and female golfers,
ages 14 thru collegians. By advertising the golf tour in surrounding states and not restricting entries by location, a broader base for competition will be created. The tournaments will be held on challenging courses in the greater St. Louis metro area, such as Bogey Hills Country Club, Dalhousie Golf Club, Far Oaks Golf Club, Gateway National, Norwood Hills Country Club and The Missouri Bluffs. It is anticipated that playing in well-managed two-day events will accelerate the golfer's game to a higher level.
