Unfortunately we will not have Dirt Crits tomorrow (May 21st).

The trail is too saturated to run a safe race!

We are hopeful for next week, let's cross our fingers we can race 2 of these this year!!! 🤞🤞🤞

Last Night’s FIRST EVER Spring Series DIRT CRITS at River’s Edge Park Trail is in the books! We had absolutely perfect dirt, BIG energy, and beautiful weather … what more could a mountain biker ask for on a Thursday night?

Firstly, a huge THANK YOU to the almost 100 of you who came out and raced, Volunteered, and/or spectated & encouraged. The energy was unmatched, the vibes were high, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off the upcoming Season of DIRT CRITS!
•
Shoutout to 4 Hands Brewing Company & SBR Bikes & Brews for their continued support of this Race (and so many other opportunities for us to join together as a cycling community). Also, special thanks to Gateway Off-Road Cyclists for believing in our vision of a Dirt Crits course at River’s Edge Park Trail. It is a dynamic & spicy course, in all the best ways!

Keep an eye out for the possibility of 2 more Spring Series Dirt Crits at River’s Edge Park Trail. After that we gear up for the Heartbreaker MTB Race at Creve Coeur Lake Park on Sunday, June 7th, and then Summer Dirt Crits at Valley Park.

Online Registration will be open until about 3:30pm on Thursday, and there will be onsite reg for +$5 from 5:00 - 6:00pm SHARP.

There will be a Kids Fun Lap immediately following the conclusion of the A Race around 7:30pm.

Unfortunately, week 2 of Spring Dirt Crits is a NO-GO.

Year 2 Attempt of River's Edge Dirt Crits is not going well,... we will be in touch about next week! We are excited and hopeful to try to race a couple of these this season!

The STL Dirt Crits have provided the greater St Louis Area with Short Track (often known as XCC) style racing for almost 20 years. These races are mass start, and riders complete a high number of laps on a very short, less technical loop, with each race lasting only 30-45 minutes. The shorter nature...

SPRING SERIES RACE #1 UPDATE:
After riding the trail this morning it is unfortunately TOO wet to race on; we will be forced to cancel this evenings races!

There will NOT be a replacement group ride tonight, but we are really crossing our fingers for next week! Stay tuned, and let's hope we can get a couple of these races in!

SPRING SERIES RACE #1 - RACE UPDATE: We are keeping a close eye on the Trail Conditions after the storms earlier this week. Currently, River’s Edge Trail is still too wet to ride, but we are hopeful that another 24 hours will do the trick.

We will make the call tomorrow morning at 10am. Cross your fingers ya’ll!

We are really hoping for dry enough conditions to have our first ever spring Dirt Crits! Please note the course is slightly updated.

We will have a starting seeding loop in the grassy area near the start/finish of the route -- riders will ride the grassy area each lap; which will be well marked!

Last Thursday Night’s DIRT CRITS Summer Series Race #8 of 8 (the Rain Make-up / shorten the Races to make it more “fun” edition 😜) is in the books! This was definitely ending with a bang.

Registration for this Thursday Night's 8/21 DIRT CRITS (OUR RAIN MAKE-UP DATE & LAST RACE OF THE SEASON!) is OPEN!

We are racing Clockwise and we will be adding the grass sections back in just like in the Championship Race!

Remember these Races will be SHORTER than normal for A & B Categories.

C Races will be 3 and 1/2 Laps
B Races will be 5 and 1/2 Laps
A Races will be 5 and 1/2 Laps

The "1/2 Lap" is the portion from the Start Line to the Timing Mat. In the Results this 1/2 Lap portion and the 1st Lap will be combined to be "Lap 1".

We will still have our Free Kid's Race at approximately 7:40pm. See you all on Thursday!
