Judging Clarifications (1-meter jump)

The dog only needs to complete 1 jump attempt and the retrieve to get partial points. So, if the dog knocks down the jump (-4), no jump back (-5), perfect retrieve. Maximum 6 points are possible for the exercise.

If the dog jumps back over the fallen jump, maximum 7 points are possible.

Helper Pre-Selection is now open for the 2026 Nationals!
DEADLINE: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2026
To qualify, helpers must meet the following criteria outlined in Helper Program Section 16:
1. Be a current USCA member in good standing for more than one (1) year at the time of the event.
2. Have attained a Regional, National, or Teaching Helper Level Classification.
3. Have not received an Unsatisfactory rating from a Judge.
Interested? Please submit the following to both Helper Committee Co-Chairs, Don Yelle and Sean Murphy:
1. A copy of your USCA Membership Card
2. Copies of ALL helper book pages since your last submission for a National Event — or your full helper book if this is your first National Event submission
3. Link(s) to a recent video showing your full IGP3 routine — preferably from a trial, although a mock trial is also acceptable
