A Night We Won’t Forget

Last night was draft night, and we’re still taking it all in.

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve had the incredible opportunity to meet, watch, talk with, and get to know so many talented players who wanted to be part of the St. Louis Archers and the USLPL. To everyone who reached out to us, sent us information, came to the Combine, played in front of us, or simply shared your enthusiasm for what we’re building — thank you. We truly appreciate it.

Making those draft-night decisions was not easy. There were more great players than there were spots available, and that is a good problem to have — but it certainly didn’t make the decisions any easier. So many of you were on our list to be the next player chosen only to have one of the other teams get your first. For those we wish you the best and look forward to seeing you at the upcoming competitions.

We also know that for those who weren’t selected last night, there may be some disappointment. We completely understand. But please don’t look at last night as the end of the road.

The door is still open.

There will be opportunities throughout the season for players to step in when someone has a schedule conflict, and unfortunately, injuries are part of sports. When those opportunities come, each team will want to know who is ready, who is available, and who can help their side compete.

So to everyone who wanted to be an Archer, a Shark, a Thoroughbred, a Pickler, a Flash, or even a Coyote, and didn't have their name called last night — stay ready. Stay connected. Keep playing.**

You never know when that phone might ring.

And to the players who are now officially part of the St. Louis Archers family… welcome aboard! You will hear from us soon ! We’re incredibly excited about this group and can’t wait to let you know and see what we can build together.

The 2026 USLPL 50+ Draft gets underway tonight — 6 team owners making the decisions that will shape the entire season. Every pick matters. Every roster spot is earned. And somewhere out there, a Legend is about to find out which team they'll be suiting up for.
