We hope this is a long standing tradition of the jr grizzlies showing out at the 4th of July parade. Have a safe and happy 4th of July!

Hey football families! We will be participating in the 4th of July parade again this year! This will take place on Friday the 4th. The parade starts at 10:00 but we will need kids there at 9:00. If parents want to walk they are more than welcome to 🙂 There is no parking allowed in the parking lot of the floats. You can pull up and drop your child off. We ask that each kid brings their own candy to throw out. The organization will be purchasing some extra candy to compensate the over flow. Chocolate is not recommended due to it being hot and it will melt. Please make sure that your child wears comfortable shoes, wears sunscreen and comes with a great attitude! Remember, these kids will represent our organization. Players should wear any Grizzly gear that they have which can include past jerseys or tshirts. Please have a talk with players that they need to be conservative when throwing candy as last year they all ran out within the first couple blocks. Also they need to throw it in the ground or hand it to someone. They can not be throwing it at people. We will be providing water for the trailer to ensure the players stay hydrated. Last but not least, please be prepared to pick up your player at Pierce Hall when we arrive there. We do not want to be waiting around for a long time for kids to be picked up. Just remember….its Great to be grizzlies!!! Let’s all have fun and interact with our hometown. :)
