Ajax St. Louis - Saints 2006 Boys

Tryouts for the fall season for the Ajax Saints (2006 Boys) are this Saturday, June 20th at 2:00-3:00 PM in Creve Couer Park Soccer Complex. We will be on the new grass fields on the northwest corner of the complex. Please arrive early & bring your own ball/water.

The Ajax Saints have been in existence since beginning as U8’s & have remained in SLYSA’s premier division every season since. Our team prides itself in having players of both outstanding talent and character. If your boy is looking for a new challenge at a high-level of play, please come out Saturday!

KICKAROUND REMINDER & TRYOUT TIME CHANGE!

The Ajax Saints 06 Boys will be hosting kickarounds for the 2020/2021 soccer season on Tuesday & Thursday, June 16th & 18th, at Creve Coeur Park on the new "Bluemuda" grass fields (northwest corner of Park) from 7:00-8:00 PM. Please bring your own ball and water. We will be conducting the kickaround in accordance with Missouri Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) "Return to Play Recommendations" (www.missourisoccer.org).
In addition, official tryouts for the team are on Saturday, June 20th at the same location, 2:00-3:00 PM. Again, please bring your own ball and water. PREVIOUSLY TRYOUT WAS EARLIER IN THE DAY-NOW WE ARE AT 2:00-3:00 PM ON SAT.

The Saints have always been a premier-level team with players of outstanding talent and character. If your boy is looking for a new challenge at a high-level of play, please come out for a kick!

Coach Brian Gillick joined the Ajax Saints 2006 Boys in the 2019/2020 season and it’s been a pleasure to have him ever since. He brings a wealth of soccer background, training expertise, and top level coaching.

As a player, he was a 3-time All-American at Benedictine College and played professional soccer in Sioux City, Iowa in 1996-1998.

He has been coaching club soccer for 15 years. His dedication to soccer is evident as he also coaches four Kolping girls teams (2002, 2003, 2004, & 2005). A great example of Coach Brian’s skills as a coach and trainer are that 17 of girls on his current 2002 team received college scholarships!

While coaching with the Ajax Saints, Brian is also the head varsity coach at Rosati Kain High School.

The Ajax Saints look forward to returning to the field when it’s safe so that they can resume training and continue competing in SLYSA’s premier division. The Ajax Saints 2006 Boys U15 team is eagerly looking forward to the upcoming 20/21 season of club soccer! Beginning as a U8 team, they have enjoyed competing in SLYSA’s Premier Division every season, winning the division twice. In preparation for the upcoming fall season, they would like to continue making connections with players that are seeking a new challenge at a high level. This team’s tradition has been one of players with great skill and character, with loving, and supportive families. The Saints have three goals for the upcoming year: compete in SLYSA’s Premier Division, compete in the 2021 State Cup, and prepare the boys for their high school soccer tryouts.
