Jax Fusion 16U 29/30 finished 2nd in the 18U Division‼️This team moved up early from 14U this fall to be a very young 16U team. Then for their 1st tournament we chose to be the only 16U team to play up in 18U and the girls showed they belong.
It was a VERY long day. Between ⛈️ delays and schedule changes the girls only played 2 pool games. 2 very close losses (2-0) & (6-5) put us as the last seed for Bracket Play. The girls didn't quit after that. They then came out to beat the #3 seed (14-1) & the #2 seed (16-3) to make the Championship game‼️
Proud of how hard these girls fought and responded from the early games. We were at the fields from 7:40am - 10:45pm!!

Also shoutout to Sara Catalano (2029) for catching 12.2 innings on the day, only 1 passed ball and took a few hard foul balls off the body!!
Great weekend girls. Their next Tournament is a PGF Showcase in Longwood, FL starting on September 19th!
