I have to take a moment and give a SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS to one of our 8U Effingham Jags…

This young man has earned DEFENSIVE DOG OF THE WEEK — BACK TO BACK! 🏅🏅

Getting it once means you had a good week. But getting it TWO WEEKS IN A ROW tells me something different.

It tells me you're starting to build CONSISTENCY.

Carson continues to show up, compete, pursue the football, and make plays for this defense. And as his coach, that's what I want to see — not just one great game, but a young player beginning to understand that the standard has to be the standard EVERY WEEK!

But Carson, understand something…

Back-to-back means everybody is watching now! 👀😂

You raised the bar, young man. Now the challenge is to KEEP IT THERE!

This week we got TWO BIG DOGS on the offensive side of the ball!

These two young men came out ready to WORK! Whether it was blocking, running, fighting for yards, or simply doing their assignment, Jeremiah and Brock showed the kind of effort we expect from an Effingham Jag!

At this age, it's bigger than touchdowns and stats. We're teaching these boys to be disciplined, physical, confident, and TEAM PLAYERS. 💪🏾

Keep grinding, Jeremiah & Brock! Every practice, every rep, and every game is another opportunity to get better.

This week we got TWO BIG DOGS on the defensive side of the ball!

These two young men came ready to HUNT! They played aggressive, stayed after the football, and made their presence felt on defense.

Defense ain't always about who gets the spotlight. It's about discipline, effort, toughness, pursuit, and doing your job every single play. Carson and Keegan showed all of that!

Keep working, young men. Keep learning. Keep getting better. The standard keeps rising! 💪🏾
