The Commander Archery Team traveled to Louisville on Friday, March 13, 2026, to compete in the NASP State Bullseye Tournament held at the Louisville Fair and Expo Center. The team delivered an outstanding performance in their first-ever state-level tournament.
This year’s tournament featured 9,241 archers from more than 400 schools, making it an incredible experience for our team. We are proud to announce that the Commanders qualified for the NASP Eastern National Tournament, which will take place May 7–9 in Louisville.
Our top-scoring male archer was Alexander Higdon, and our top-scoring female archer was Cacey Jo Burress. Several archers also achieved new personal bests, including Alexander Higdon, Sophia Jackson, and Gracie Combs.
Next up, the Commanders will compete in the KHSAA Region 3 Tournament on Saturday, March 21. Twelve archers will represent the team at this event.
🎉 Congratulations to all of our archers on a strong and successful season!
