I can’t believe this was a year ago 🥹 and here i am getting even more emotional because 2 nights ago we moved my littlest (Presley) into Pey’s room. We have baby 3 on the way and like many families we don’t have enough rooms, so my girls will be sharing a room for a while.
I’ve been having so many bittersweet feelings knowing that baby boy is coming soon. On one hand I’m so excited and I cannot wait to have him in my arms but on the other hand, I recognize that the time I have with just my girls is coming to an end & that makes me a little sad too. Seeing Presley in her new room and not in the nursery anymore has really hit me hard🥹 but I’m excited to be renovating their room in the next couple weeks and getting baby boys nursery somewhat more pulled together!
So mamas- no matter where you’re at, what season of motherhood you’re in, I hope that you can sit in your fills today and pull your kids in close. As I get ready to enter into the newborn season again I’m reminding myself to just embrace that season, rest and be with my baby & kids as much as possible because everything changes so quickly & they grow up so fast!
