Circles Springfield - a Northwest Project Program

Circles Springfield - a Northwest Project Program Families can take charge to achieve economic stability with the right tools and supports. Currently, there are over 70 operating chapters. www.drewlewis.com

Circles is a nationwide movement of communities in the United States and Canada focused on ending poverty by breaking down systematic barriers and creating community. Circles accomplishes this through community members who step forward and become chapter members. Circles has 10 years of evidenced based research demonstrating the success of this comprehensive model. Through unique programming, fami

lies, called Circle Leaders, identify why they are in poverty and begin to develop a plan to get out of poverty. Meanwhile, their children work with trained volunteers to learn age appropriate skills that create conversation starters and move towards breaking the generational cycle of poverty. After graduating, they are matched with an Ally. An Ally is someone from a middle to high income willing to invest time and connections (social capital) into helping the family meet their goals.
