From the Savannah River in Georgia all the way to Arkabutla Lake in Mississippi, we’ve had a great week hunting. Savannah River wood ducks and some Pintails and Green Wing Teal in Mississippi.

My name is Landon, and I am the founder of Ebenezer Creek Outdoors. I am 12 years old. My family and I moved to Georgia from Mississippi in 2021. I love outdoor sports and football. Ebenezer Creek Outdoors was named after a creek that runs near my new home here in Georgia.

Last year, I began building Wood Duck boxes for outdoorsman who wanted to increase the Wood Duck population in their area. I created this business for my Agriculture class project in 2022 and am continuing it for my class project this year.

My parents are helping me and guiding me as I build the boxes and make business decisions. Not only am I helping the Wood Duck population, I am learning woodworking skills, how to start a business, customer service, budgeting, and how to reinvest in my business.
