We are very excited and ready to go and race at Springfield Raceway this weekend! 👏

New (to us) engine is in and ready to turn some laps!

A big thanks to Ken Walker for getting us hooked up with a power plant for the race car and a big thank you to Yeoman Race Engines for a pretty quick turn around getting it gone over for us when we dumped the engine at their doorstep!👍

No racing for us this weekend!🥲

We will be hanging back this weekend to get the new engine(new to us) installed and getting a few other odds and ends finished to make sure it’s just right!👏 catch us back Springfield Raceway May 9th hookin and jabbing again!

We really want to say a huge thank you to all our firmed family and sponsors for helping get us rolling again!

Tis just a scratch….did some open heart surgery on the modified and this is the carnage…block is junk, head is junk, piston has officially retired and valve with pushrod decided it was trying to move out… 🥲

Going to be making some calls and in the talks on our next plan of attack… if anyone knows anyone with a decent Midwest mod engine and or 602 for an alright price please let us know….👍

Some unfortunate events for us last night….

Was able to get the car just right and it was coming alive in the second half of our feature and then the engine decided to let go… motor decided it was time to go on the last lap..🥲

Very frustrating and disappointing but it is a part of racing…

We will start looking for new engine options and have a teardown on what exactly happened this week.

Last night was eventful to say the least…. Still got a top 10 finishing P10.👍🏁

Josh and Juan worked hard all night but seemed to be one step ahead or one step behind in set up….dry slick track most of the night causing us to be set up way loose…. Then got the car adjusted to tight for the feature when the track came back around🙃

Still brought the car home in one piece and we are still learning a lot about what this car likes!

Definitely a better night last night! Finished 2nd in our heat race and finished 9th in our main giving us a top 10! The car was hooked up and did what it needed to do! 👏🏁

Unfortunately we sprung a huge exhaust leak from our header to the head and it was causing us some big power loss issues but we held on to finish and we will take it! We will get everything tightened back up and ready to go for next race day!🫡
