It comes from carrying a lot for a long time.

Busy schedules. Constant decisions. Stress running quietly in the background. Trying to keep up with everything while still taking care of everyone else, too.

And eventually your body starts feeling flat, foggy, overstimulated, or just… off.

The good news is that energy usually improves with simpler habits, better recovery, more consistency, and learning how to work with your body instead of against it.

it might not be about needing more discipline.

Most of the time, what’s missing is a simple structure to come back to.

After 40, consistency usually comes down to a few things:
• 3 strength workouts each week
• staying active throughout the day
• keeping meals simple and repeatable

Nothing extreme. Just something you can actually stick with.

there’s usually a reason.

Not a lack of effort.
Not a lack of discipline.

Just a mismatch between what you’re doing… and what your body actually needs now.

After 40, your body responds best to:

• consistent strength
• daily movement
• enough protein

Simple. Structured. Repeatable.

That’s where things start to shift.

After 40, it’s not about doing more or going harder.
It’s about showing up consistently with the right things:
Simple strength training
Daily movement
Enough protein
A steady rhythm you can actually stick to
No extremes. No starting over every Monday.
Just small actions… repeated enough to grow something real 🌱
