We had a very humid, sweaty, but sunny start to our season but had a great time getting to know one another and starting to work on the basics. Smaller numbers called for some group skills, drills, & fun!

‼️⚽️PATCH SUMMER SOCCER ⚽️‼️

Let's try this again! We're trying to be optimistic for this evening & still try to host so we can wrap up registration today!

📣We are aware of the current forecast for this evening & hope that the system goes around us. But we will try to post as soon as possible if our plans change in regard to canceling or postponing soccer due to the weather or field conditions!

🟡 It's humid and the UV index is high. Don't forget to drink lots of water, dress for the warm weather, and wear sunscreen. We'll be taking frequent water breaks to help prevent overheating and dehydration! ☀️
🔵 In the event of severe weather, practice will be shut down and dismissed early. Sometimes the weather deviates from their forecast. The weather forecasts on various platforms aren't always consistent across the board, and we try to follow meteorologist recommendations to the best of our abilities.
──🌩️In a light rain, we'll attempt to continue. Downpours and lightning strikes call for an immediate cut in practice. We want to be able to have soccer as much as the weather allows!
🟠 Parents, your judgment is paramount to yours and your player's experience. PATCH Summer Soccer is not an attendance-enforced activity. If you're unsure of the weather conditions, have other plans, or just not feeling it on any given day, we get it!

‼️ Please do arrive early to register your player if you haven't done so yet. Bri will be at Freshwater Park by the soccer shed, equipped with registration packets.
⚠️ Cleats (with no toe spike) or tennis shoes are acceptable footwear. We still recommend shin guards since other players may possibly be wearing cleats. ⚠️

—📢 As for Freshwater Park, we are extremely fortunate to be able to use this facility as our venue this season, please help us maintain it!

Bring your chairs, sunglasses, and water bottles (possibly umbrellas & rain boots too)! ⚽️

☔️CANCELED — 6/9/26☔️

The condition of the field at the park is currently very poor and with more rain on the way—it is unplayable for this evening.

With of our player's, staff's, & their families's safety in mind, we have made the decision to CANCEL Soccer for ALL ages groups this evening.

We hope that we can host our first day of Summer Soccer this Thursday, June 11th.

Today's the day! We're hoping the weather predicted for this evening decides to cooperate and stay away until after soccer ─ but for right now, we're still planning to host just so we're sure everyone's able to register and be sorted onto teams! ☀️
