9U South Spartanburg Elements

Well we tried to get a 9U team for the spring and it didn’t workout. We are moving up to 10u in the fall probably depending on the age and grade level thing. If we can stay down we will try it again depending on those who is willing to work with us. For those who is still with us and stayed together thank you and again can’t wait to see how these kids progress.

The first tryout went great! We are seeking a couple more players to complete our 2025 Spring Season. A second tryout will be held TOMORROW, SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Ed Peeler Park in Roebuck. An additional open practice and tryout date will be announced after the holidays to potentially fill any remaining roster vacancies.

2 more days left until this weekend! Very excited to see what competition we have for the tryouts! If you don’t have a team yet you don’t want to miss your chance to be apart of something great! Please join us at ED Peeler park this weekend. First tryout is Saturday at 11am and the Second is Sunday at 2pm. The weather is getting cooler so make sure they are ready to perform at their best. Bring whatever equipment you have for them and protection if they catch. Also make sure they have on pants they will be getting dirty. Thank you and see ya soon!

Finished off the fall season at the Area Code Games. Enjoyed every minute and loved the experience thank you USSSA. The boys played their hearts out and didn’t even know each other. We played against 2 other states and they were tough. Thank you to the coaches and parents for time we had. Hope we get to do it again. Now on to the spring and hope to lead my own team.

As the Smith/Guy fall REC 10U season comes to an end another chapter will soon begin. I enjoyed every minute and learned a lot from these boys. We grew so much as a team and ended on a win. I know they will do well in the future. Most of these boys where to old to keep for the travel team. The fall is not over us though. We will be at the Area Code games with my son with his nomination. This will be a new experience for us and hopefully not the last. Please come out and join us November 23rd and 24th for our tryouts. I can not wait to get started.

The Smith/Guy 10U Fall REC season has finally come to an end. Enjoyed every moment and learned a lot from these boys. We grew as a team and wished it didn’t have to end. Most of the boys where to old to keep for 9U but I know they will do well in the future. Please come out and join us on November 23rd and 24th for the spring 9U travel season. We continue our fall season with my son at the Area Code games. Will be a new experience for us.
