BIG UPDATE!!!!!

CHASE does not require a cast!!!!
He will be a brace for a few weeks...

So this means he will be able to finish out his season!

He is limited to 1 car for the rest of the season ( except region )

Well we had a great run this season

Sadly chase has fractured his arm... we will have more details once we we Orthopedic next week...

This year has been the funnest year we have had yet! We will keep at it and prepare for vegas!

Hopefully we only have the cast for a short time but more info to come

😍😍😍 This makes up for yesterday so much.

More details once we get home but I couldn't help but to share a little now

Omg. CHASE showed up today.

In 120 chase had the field for 38 of 40 laps... our buddy Copelin ending up catching up and snagging the 1st at the very end. Both boys are killing it in this class.

Animal was on fire after we manged to fix the carb issues we had the day prior

160. Chase was a part of a huge accident where his friend flipped and he couldn't avoid it. It bent a rod that we missed and he couldn't steer correctly so he couldn't keep speed. I will attach the flip in the comments. I have permission from the family

World... OMG. We have struggled with this class all year but today it clicked for him. FINALLY!

TODAY was a good... GREAT DAY!

DAD and MOM are beat.

Well today went our way until it didnt 🤷‍♀️

QUALS:
Hvy 120 FAST TIME!!!
hvy animal 2nd fastest
Hvy 160 5th fastest
Hvy world... 7th chain came off so we didnt get more then 1 lap... 😭

Mains
Hvy 120 started 5th ended 3rd.

And this is after he was sent to the back for rough driving and he workwd his way back up

Hvy animal 4th to ending last due to carb issues

Hvy 160 5th dnf... carb bowl came off... wierd... but thats a story for a different time

Hvy worl... 7th and ended with a dnf... chase was collected with a spun car and it broke his left birdcage. Nothing to save it on the track

We made a lot of progress in all of these cars so far

Lee Record and Brandy Record have a long night ahead of us...

After our last region race in Monroe, we had to make the unfortunate decision of retiring our world formula mod motor, it's been on the track half a dozen times and never quite worked right and kept fuel starving itself, and never finished a race.
After conferring with the builder, we tried several self fixes, new fuel lines, opening the breather on the catch can, testing and clearing our fuel can vent, running the carb air screw all the way in and opening it to a half-1.5 turns out, 2 new spark plugs, new fuel, and meticulously cleaning the carb, we offered the builder a chance to get the motor back from us to figure it out and hopefully they get it off to another family to race.

Chase first p1 win in 2 years. Mom, Dad and racer had tears in our eyes. Our 120 is nailed to the track.

We havent been in animal at our home club this year we went out to race with a friend and ended with a surprise 3rd.

When Saturday rains out but the sun comes out in Sunday, racing returns

Chase is showing so much growth so quick since last season its so impressive. Learning how to pass and get more fire under his bottom!

Heats:
Hvy honda p2->p3
Hvy 160 p3->p3
Hvy WF p6->p6

Mains
Hvy honda p3-> DNF
Hvy 160 p3->p3
Hvy WF P6 ->P4

HONDA... there was a crash right at the beginning and he had no were to go... broke and bent so much. We were able to kinda fix it but at the end chase couldn't steer so he came off the track.

Over all Sunday was a win in our books. Each race day we are setting goal... and these goals are to better our driver... trophies arent everything. Building a better driver is the goal.

What it looks like when you follow the line and you have no where to go... thank god he was okay

Car not so much...

Safety is always first... car was fixable to finish the race but we are tearing it apart to check the frame this week... 😬
