Regional Results Day 1:

2nd round results: Subach defeats CB Aycock 6-0, 6-0 to advance to the 3rd round of regionals. Matches start at 9:30am Saturday.

1st round results: #2 seed Carys Subach def A. Tinoco 6-0, 6-0 and advances to the 2nd round. Phoebe Cumbee lost tough battle to #1 seed Willingham 6-0, 6-0. Duo Opal Boehmer/Lana Harden fall 6-0,6-0 to #2 seed CB Aycock.

5A pre-regionals results -

Phoebe Cumbee pulls out a 7-5, 6-1 win over Northside Jacksonville to secure a spot at next weekends individual regional tournament.

Trinity Harden and Kate Harrington lose a hard fought battle 5-7, 7-6(6), 5-7 to Northside Jacksonville.

Carys Subach and duo Lana Harden/Opal Boehmer received a bye and qualified for the Regional tournament next weekend as well.

Regionals will be held at Barton College Oct 17-18.

Cougars finish out their last 2 conference matches this week at Fairmont on Tuesday and West Bladen on Thursday. Post season dual teams draws will be out on Friday 10/10. 🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾

Women’s tennis with a 9-0 win over Whiteville. Singles wins from Subach, Cumbee, Boehmer, L. harden, T. harden, J. Harden. Doubles wins from duos Subach/Cumbee, Boehmer/L.Harden, T.Harden/Harrington. They are 10-2 overall and 7-0 in conference and in 1st place!! 🎾🎾🎾
