Over the years, Jenna Kim has grown from a talented junior golfer competing in CGA events to one of the top amateur players in the Carolinas and a member of the inaugural U.S. National Develipment program’s Team North Carolina.

After winning this years NC Women’s Amateur, Jenna reflected on her journey through CGA tournaments and how those experiences helped shape her into the player she is today. This week, her steady course management, patience, and ability to stay committed to her game plan were key factors in putting herself in a position to win once again.

Congrats to Jenna Kim for claiming the 77th North Carolina Women’s Amateur Championship and earning her place in the USGA Women’s Amateur at The Honors Course in Tennessee!

Kim carded rounds of 72-68-70 to finish at 6-under par (210), securing the title with an impressive three-round performance.

Last week was “Golf’s Longest Day.” It’s 36 holes, one day, and a shot at earning a place in the U.S. Open. We were on site at Gaston Country Club as players battled through one of the toughest days in golf, chasing a dream and a ticket to Shinnecock Hills.

Now, all eyes turn to the season’s third major. The 126th U.S. Open begins tomorrow, and several familiar faces from the Carolinas will be teeing it up on one of golf’s biggest stages.

The conclusion to a week full of match play has arrived ⛳️.

Brady Senn is your 50th SC Junior Boys’ Match Play Champion!

Senn took it way low on the front nine, posting a score of 29 and a 5-birdie stretch between holes 4 to 8. Brennan Kelly is the runner up after concluding his tournament on the 12th green with Senn winning 8&6. 🏆

Another huge shoutout to Darlington Country Club for making this an unforgettable event!
