SEASON FINALE | SOUTH POINT MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL 🏈

📍 South Point @ Gallia
⏰ 6:00 PM Kick-Off

Tonight, we close the chapter on the 2026 middle school football season, but the work we’ve put in and the lessons we’ve learned will carry far beyond this final whistle.

Proud is an understatement.

Building a successful football program is about more than wins and losses. It’s about building a foundation, establishing standards, developing character, and teaching young men what it takes to become champions not just on Friday nights, but in life.

Every season brings challenges. Every setback brings a lesson. Every practice is an opportunity to get better. What matters most is how we respond, how we treat one another, and whether we are willing to put the TEAM ahead of ourselves.

These young men have continued to show up, put in the work, learn the system, and get better day by day. Growth doesn’t always show up on the scoreboard, but you can see it in their effort, their understanding of the game, their accountability, and the way they continue to fight for one another.

THAT is how you build a program. THAT is how you establish a culture. THAT is how you set new standards.

We are committed to doing things the right way developing our players, teaching the game, building character, holding each other accountable, and preparing these young men for the next level. We aren’t looking for shortcuts. We are building something that will last.

To our 8th graders: Your middle school journey ends tonight, but your next chapter begins soon. High school football is waiting, and the expectations will rise. Take what you’ve learned, keep working, and be ready to compete. Your future is what you make of it!

To our 7th graders: Your time to lead is coming. Next season, the younger players will be looking to YOU to set the example. Learn from this season, embrace the responsibility, and get ready to lead this program forward.

To every player who has stuck it out, trusted the process, and continued to grind we see you, and we are proud of you. The results we want are built through the decisions we make every day, long before the lights come on.

The foundation is being built. The standards are being raised. The culture is growing & the future is bright! 🔥

One game left. One more opportunity to compete, represent South Point, and finish this season the right way.

Let’s go earn it, boys!

ONE TEAM. ONE BEAT. RISE AS ONE.

🇺🇸 NEVER FORGOTTEN — 9/11 🇺🇸

Today, South Point Football pauses to remember September 11, 2001, a day that changed our nation forever.

We remember the thousands of innocent lives that were taken, the families who were forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger when everyone else was running away.

We especially honor the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, first responders, military members, and ordinary Americans who gave extraordinary sacrifice. Many gave their lives that day, and many others have carried the physical and emotional scars ever since.

🙏 Today, we pray for the families who lost loved ones. We pray for those who continue to carry that loss. And we pray for the men and women who continue to serve and protect our communities every single day.

As football players and coaches, we talk often about teamwork, sacrifice, courage, and having each other’s backs. September 11 reminds us that those words mean much more than what happens between the lines.

The Bible tells us in John 15:13:
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for his friends.”

May we never forget the sacrifices made that day.
May we never forget the lives lost.
May we never forget the heroes who answered the call And may we never take our freedom, our families, or one another for granted.

God bless the families who still remember.
God bless those who serve.
God bless our first responders.
And God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸

NEVER FORGET. 9/11/01
🇺🇸
