Does your daughter love cheer? Elite Storm is a new and premier STUNT program here in Livingston County! Team placement evaluations are being held this weekend. Don’t miss out!
What is STUNT?
STUNT is the fastest growing female sport in the country. It’s head-to-head competitive cheerleading in a 4-quarter format. Q1= partner stunts, Q2= pyramids & tosses, Q3= jumps & tumbling, Q4= team routine. Within each quarter, there are rounds of play that focus on pre-set routines ranging in skill level. It is exciting to watch and even more exciting to play.
Who can participate?
We are forming teams at all age levels-
8U (5-8 years old)
11U (8-11 years old)
14U (11-14 years old)
18U (14-18 years old)
18+ (18-25 years old)
Can I do STUNT and youth or sideline cheer at the same time?
Absolutely! STUNT is a great enhancement to other cheer programs and, unlike all-star, will not make you ineligible for MHSAA competitive cheer. We have formatted our practice schedule so as not to interfere with the local fall cheer season.
What does the season look like?
The season runs August 27th through early November. Practices are held on Sundays. There will be 3-5 tournaments/scrimmages which will be held on Saturdays or Sundays.
How do I try out?
Team placement evaluations are 8/19 and 8/20 at TILT Tumble & Cheer in South Lyon. At evaluations, athletes will demonstrate their skills and learning potential in a low stress environment. Rosters will be assembled based on skill, experience, age, and what would form the most competitive and successful teams. There is a minimum number of athletes required to form a team at each level.
