Designed for players ages 6-9, our Sandlot Program focuses on player development, individual skills, and fun summer scrimmages in a positive baseball environment.

Program Details:
• 7 Sunday sessions
• Focus on individual skill development and scrimmages
• Designed for players entering at least 1st grade in Fall 2027
• Great option for players looking to continue developing and playing baseball throughout the summer

We’re excited to announce tryouts for our 9U Jr Guardians summer baseball program!
📅 Sunday, May 31
⏰ 4:30 PM
📍 Nayaug School Field
Open to all 9U eligible players born on or after 5/1/2016

(Player should be at least 9 years old by 5/1/2027 unless you have spoken directly with a coach regarding eligibility.)

Our summer program runs from early June through the 3rd week of July. Commitment is 4 days per week with 2 games per week typically

Registration is open for current Kindergarten through 3rd grade players for our Summer 2026 Glastonbury Junior Guardians programs.

This summer we are planning:
• 3rd Grade Kid Pitch Team
• 2nd Grade Team (machine pitch + kid pitch)
• 2nd/1st Grade Team (primarily machine pitch)
• Summer Sandlot Program for K-2nd graders

Our Sandlot Program will focus on fun, development, practices, and in town scrimmages throughout the summer.

TRYOUT / ASSESSMENT DATES

⚾️ 1st / 2nd Grade
Sunday, May 17 at 2:00 PM

⚾️ 3rd Grade
Sunday, May 31 at 4:30 PM
Nayaug School

All current 1st and 2nd graders are encouraged to attend assessments. There is no cost to try out.

Projected pricing for non full year members:
• Competitive Teams: approximately $200 + jersey/hat
• Sandlot Program: approximately $100

The Northern CT Youth Baseball League (NCYBL)is a summer travel baseball league for 6 to 8-year-old baseball players to help them develop their baseball skills and introduce them to summer travel baseball in a competitive and developmental environment.

Teams from Litchfield, Hartford, and Tolland counties are welcome to join!
