Lady Legends competed in a 3 game round robin on saturday. The girls pushed through the heat and played their hearts out. We had some great pitching, fielding and were aggressive at the plate. Next up for the Lady Legends is this weekends 3 day Memorial day tournament!

Happy birthday to #7 Geniya! She's one of our power hitters and loves to be catcher. Geniya may be a multisport athlete who also plays basketball and runs track but we like think she loves softball best! 😉🤭 We're so happy she's a part of the Lady Legends crew!

Happy 10th birthday to our one and only, Keira! Our #15 works hard on the field at all positions but enjoys pitching and playing first the most. There’s a lot of things she loves about softball but she considers herself lucky to have met some of her best friends through softball and loves that she gets to play and grow with them. Off the field, Keira loves to read and watch Stranger Things whenever she has a chance. We love being able to watch her grow and we enjoy all the time we get to spend with her. Take a moment to wish Keira a happy birthday as she celebrates her first day with double digits!

Quick brag post! Your South Elgin Lady Legends played their hearts out Saturday and Sunday in their very first tournament hosted by the Wasco Diamonds out of Campton Hills.

These girls battled all weekend thru hail, rain, wind,(not enough) sun and 40 degree temps. On Saturday they went 2-0 in pool play to secure a second seed for bracket play. On Sunday during bracket play, they won their first two games to continue on and advance to the Championship game against Frankfort Fusion. They fought hard and never gave up but lost 10-6 during that last game.

On behalf of Coach Gianni, Coach Jeff, Coach Nicole and myself, we just want to express how proud we are of each and everyone one of these girls. They have come so far in a short amount of time and the future is insanely bright for them. We have a packed summer planned for them with both travel and little league games, round robins and tournaments and we can’t wait to see how they continue to grow.

Parents, thank you for your continued support and sticking it out thru all the game time changes and the weather. We know it’s rough but you all are rockstars. These girls couldn’t do it without you.

Happy birthday to #99 Alyssa! She plays multiple positions but her favorite is shortstop. Her favorite thing about softball is playing with her team and meeting new softball players. Alyssa loves anything art related and spending time with her dog Pepper.

Happy 10th Birthday to our girl Chloe!
Chloe loves being on a team and working hard alongside her teammates. Pitching is her favorite position but she is a force anywhere on the field. When she's not playing softball, she enjoys playing Roblox and riding her electric scooter. We love that she is apart of our Lady Legends Family!
