Setting the scene;

It’s midsummer of 2025, and I had just officially convinced Josh to start embracing random antique stores on the side of the road with me. It’s an itch that must be scratched for those that know, and once he realized that you can, indeed, locate some gorgeous taxidermy finds at the back of most of these shops, he became hooked too. For me, it has always been ducks. Mallards flying, mallards standing, mallards doing anything. Nothing beats duck art… but then there are also the vintage Coca-Cola bottles, floral plates, wooden crates… SHEESH, I guess nothing beats ANTIQUING!

Now, fast forward. All of spring plus early summer, we worked on this goal to follow a longtime joy (and slight obsession), and bring a specialty curated event to the farm. We went back and forth on it - Does the area have need for it, will people be as excited as we are, and should we give it a shot? Do we even have enough time to get it planned? All questions that we truthfully do not yet know the answer to, but we are going to run with it, and have faith that it will find its people!! 🤎

All of this being said, vendor applications are now OPEN for our first ever VINTAGE MARKET!

This will take place at the start of Labor Day Weekend on both Friday, September 4th (4pm-8pm) and Saturday, September 5th (10am-3pm), and we would love to create an exciting environment that will give people a fun and unique evening or afternoon out!

Do any of our friends have one of those large metal roosters not being used, that we could upcycle here on the farm? We are INCREDIBLY inspired by The Roosters of Ogunquit movement, and always take any opportunity to custom paint something awesome! 🤩🐓🌲
