Princeton Speedway Race Recap

Saturday night at Princeton Speedway was a roller coaster.

We qualified 9th out of 18 cars and started 3rd in Heat 3. The car was fast, and we were able to work our way to the front and pick up the heat race win.

That put us starting 3rd in the feature. Unfortunately, our night took a turn early when a car spun out in front of us. While trying to avoid the incident, we ended up getting caught up in it and suffered damage that ended our chances at a strong finish.

Not the result we were hoping for, but we’re thankful for God’s protection and for everyone who helps make it possible to be at the track each week. We’ll get it fixed up and be ready for the next one

Saturday night at Beckley Motor Speedway was a battle from start to finish.

We qualified 8th out of 26 cars and started 3rd in Heat 2. Unfortunately, we got caught up in a wreck that cut a tire and ended our heat race early, forcing us to start the feature at the tail of the 26-car field.

The feature was filled with cautions, but we kept digging. Starting dead last, we worked our way through the field and battled our way up to a 4th-place finish against a tough field of cars.

Not the night we had planned when the heat race ended early, but we never gave up. God’s plan is always bigger than ours, and sometimes the biggest victories come from overcoming adversity. Thankful for His protection, and
for everyone who supports this team, and for the opportunity to do what I love. Looking forward to the next time we hit the track.

Saturday night at Beckley Motor Speedway we qualified 5th out of 17 cars in the #4.

Started 3rd in Heat 1 and finished 2nd
then started 3rd in the feature and brought it home 4th.

Had a solid car all night and stayed up front racing around good competition. Appreciate everybody that helps us get to the track every weekend

Solid weekend for Brandon Haga and Haga Motorsports in the #4 car. 🏁

Princeton Speedway
• Qualified 4th
• Started 2nd in the 1st heat race — finished 3rd
• Started 7th in the feature — finished 3rd out of 17
• Finishing only 0.06 seconds behind 2nd

Beckley Motor Speedway
• Qualified 5th
• Started 2nd in the 2nd heat race — finished 3rd
• Started 8th in the feature — finished 4th out of a 24 car field

Overall, a solid weekend with the car moving forward both nights. Huge thanks to everyone supporting Haga Motorsports

Brandon Haga showed speed and resilience this weekend in the Legend Car with solid runs at both Princeton Speedway and Beckley Motor Speedway.

At Princeton Speedway, Brandon qualified 8th, then charged from the 2nd starting spot to win the 4th heat race. In the feature, bad luck struck early after getting caught up in a first-lap wreck that cut a tire. Sent to the tail of the 20-car field, Brandon battled back through the pack to finish 9th.

At Beckley Motor Speedway, Brandon qualified 6th out of a strong 30-car field. He started 2nd in Heat 2 and brought home a 3rd-place finish. In the feature, Brandon rolled off 10th and dropped back to 17th while fighting through heavy traffic.

Another weekend of showing speed, overcoming adversity, and gaining experience. On to the next one.

Race Recap – Princeton Speedway

Solid night at Princeton Speedway in the #4 car!

We rolled off and started 2nd in the 3rd heat race, battled hard and brought it home 2nd, setting us up for the feature. In hot laps and the heat the car was very loose, but we stayed after it and made the right adjustments.

For the feature, we started 6th and drove our way up to finish 4th. The car was on point when it mattered most and we were able to race our way forward and bring home a strong finish.
