We have 2 teams fishing the World Finals this week. What a great experience to be a part of this on our home lake. Good luck to our teams of Rylan, Myles, Jacob and Austin. Rylan and Myles will be in at 3:20 CST, Jacob and Austin will be in at 1:40 CST. I will post link tomorrow for a live feed of the weigh in for those who can’t make it over to watch in person. Get ready for an exciting opportunity! The stage is set for a thrilling points race series where the top team will claim the G&J Pepsi Commonwealth Cup and top teams will secure valuable berths towards the 2027 SAF National Championship based on the final Team of the Year standings.

*Few Notable Items:

(1) Each event will be approximately six (6) hours vs eight (8) hours, contingent on boat flights.

(2) Weigh-in will include a familiar trailered format, but will include differing limits for each division:

~Best five (5) fish limit for High School & Best three (3) fish limit for Juniors, welcoming both juniors and high school participants in their own respective settings.

(3) Each angler will be required to have an active membership with Student Angler Federation ("SAF"), which aligns with the same requirement for KHSAA competition.

We hope to have a live Q&A at some point but you can expect the same well organized and professionally ran trail we have always produced.

As we reminisce the beginning of our journey with the Boyle/Central trail, our collaboration with KBN has been truly remarkable over the years. Nevertheless, we have chosen to redirect our efforts towards a more consultative role within KBN and assume ownership/management of the Kentucky SAF/MLF trail. We are extremely grateful to Mr. Roy and Mr. Pierce for the opportunity. This new venture will bring changes as most when new tournament directors come in. Ultimately providing an unparalleled experience and atmosphere for anglers to grow and be coached, as you would expect from us if you have participated in any of our events over the last two years is still our priority. More information will be coming in the fall we look forward to producing quality events that anglers and families can enjoy.

Is your high school angler looking to take their fishing career to the next level?... The 5th Annual Bassmaster High School Combine presented by Skeeter is heading to Wheeler Lake in Decatur, AL, from Sept. 11-13!

This is a chance for them to showcase their skills, compete in challenges, and network with coaches from 25 top colleges offering fishing scholarships.

~Where: Ingalls Harbor and Pavilion, Wheeler Lake, AL
~When: September 11-13
~Registration: Opens Monday, June 8 at 9 a.m. CT (Limited to the first 100 anglers!)
~Fee: $750 (includes 2 nights of lodging and 4 meals)
