New Update! The project and field is not complete. We are currently waiting for an update from the town and highway department regarding the padding and grass guard. There will be NO summer season at this point. The surrounding ground work has not been started. We just completed the surface curing time but without the leveling of the ground and padding, safety is an issue. We are currently hoping for a field opening event and a possible fall season but the lighting is also not functioning currently. Without lights, we cannot play. Once we have a clear direction, we will move forward with seasonal plans. After this week, half the field committee will be out on medical but we will continue to meet electronically for updates, the writing of the phase 3 grant proposal and progress meetings. This is currently out of our hands and we are at yet another stand still. WE will continue to advocate for this project to be done CORRECTLY versus rushing through the process doing it piecemeal just to get it done. We thank all of our players for your understanding during this process. Currently, I am working on some corporate donations for new and updated supplies, finding and training maintenance staff and serving as the liaison for the league on this project. I recently came back from a seriously needed FL break due to injuries and personal issues. However, I never stopped working and meeting with the team! WE ARE WORKING! We apologize for all of the delays but again we want this done RIGHT and will not accept less.
