Reminder that Wings Over Water will be closed for Memorial Day weekend from Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 25. We will reopen and resume our regular schedule on Tuesday, May 26. 🇺🇸

Wishing all of our WOW families, students, and members a beautiful holiday weekend as we honor and remember those who have served our country. We are grateful for their service and sacrifice. ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Wings Over Water Somers! 💙🌸

Our first 6 photos are from our special Mother’s Day Parent & Tot and Advanced Parent & Tot classes — celebrating all the amazing moms, caregivers, and little swimmers who joined us in the water today! 💦

Our 7th photo features Miss Jasmine celebrating Mother’s Day with her mom and grandma 🩵

The final two photos are especially meaningful and represent three generations of WOW swimmers.

Instructor sisters Isabel and Kara were once WOW students themselves after their moms brought them to swim lessons years ago. Their moms also took lessons through Wings Over Water, and Isabel and Kara went on to complete all levels of our Swimplicity Curriculum, becoming strong swimmers and now fantastic WOW Somers swim instructors helping teach the next generation. 💙

And now their grandma is taking Adult Swim lessons in Somers because she never had the opportunity to learn to swim growing up — but now it’s her time. What an incredible full-circle WOW family story spanning three generations. ✨

We also love celebrating Alana, another WOW success story! Her mom brought her to Wings Over Water for lessons when she was younger, and now Alana is a WOW Somers swim instructor as well. 🩵

For over 35 years, Wings Over Water has proudly helped families build confidence, water safety skills, and lifelong memories through our Swimplicity Curriculum.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful moms, grandmas, and caregivers in our WOW family! 💙🌸
