MID - ATLANTIC COACH OF THE YEAR 🙌 When it comes to her players, she is loud and proud. But when it comes to herself, she is extremely humble. She will be the first to give credit to her amazing coaching staff, but she is our fearless leader. She leads us to our successes and bears the weight of our failures. She has created a culture that makes athletes and coaches WANT to work for her. She is fierce but also empathetic, confident but also vulnerable, hard working but also fun, and above all else, she is truly COMMITTED to giving EVERY SINGLE athlete the best chance at success in not only field hockey, but in life!

#14 on her jersey, #1 in Delaware and now… #1 IN THE NATION!!! 🤩 Our very own Bree Moffett has been named NATIONAL FIELD HOCKEY HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETE OF THE YEAR by the NHSCA! We are so proud of Bree and we cannot thank enough for this great honor!

In addition to this incredible feat, she has also been named NFHCA 1st team All American and MAX field hockey 1st team All American! It’s just the beginning for our champ 👑

The Dynamic Duo is STILL making headlines! 🙌
McKenna Wilson was named to the MAX field hockey’s Mid Atlantic All-Region Second Team and Bree Moffett was named to the MAX field hockey’s Mid Atlantic All-Region First Team. SO proud of these 2 and can’t wait to watch them continue their field hockey careers next year in college!

“SHE DID IT TWICE!” - anonymous

That’s right, our very own Smyrna Field Hockey LEGEND, Senior Co-captain Bree Moffett, has earned D1 Player of the Year for the SECOND year in a row! She ends her career at SHS as a 2-time POY and a 2-time State Champion! She finishes with 124 goals and 52 assists for a total of 300 POINTS!!!!

Don’t worry, you can keep following along as she trades her red uniform in for purple when she makes her way to Northwestern University to join the recently crowned BACK to BACK, D1 NCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!! We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again… B1G things coming for #14
